A dolichophis caspius. It lives in Greece including several islands, FYROM, southern Slovakia, Hungary, southern and eastern Romania, European Turkey, Bulgaria, Albania and Montenegro. It is not venomous (the only venomous snake in Greece is the viper). It feeds on rodents, lizards and other snakes. It reaches 2 m. in length.
