|It is a Platyceps najadum. The greek common name of this snake is "Saita". It is a non-venomus snake, very thin and very fast. It belongs to the family "Colubridae"|

It looks like very attractive little animal. Surely arguments such it is, but this I cannot check. Photo technically good, and the raised head of the snake introduces to the picture the pretty big dose of the excitement.

Hi Ilis, this is a very interesting and original shot of this dainty snake. I like the pov and the soft background. Snake has good detail, sharpness and colour.
I had oportunity to observe this species only one time in my life, two years ago in SE Montenegro. This is a really cute animal. It was a very young specimen, perfectly coloured and very fresh :)
And you picture reminds me this interesting finding :)
I like this close up and profile POV. Maybe DOF could be a little better but I now how difficult is to take a good picture of so mobile and fast creature like snakes :)
TFS and have a nice weekend!
PS. I added this picture to my theme "Reptiles of Europe". I hope that you agree for that :)
