Le Citron de Provence est très répandu en Europe méditerranéenne.
Il aime les bois chauds et les landes arbustives sèches.
Il vole de février à octobre selon les régions d'Europe. En France, on le voit de fin mai à début octobre.
Sa chenille pond sur l'Alaterne : Rhamnus alaternus.

Hmmm ... then these are the "Lemons" of Europe! .. are beautiful, and inns in the midst of this kind of environment, are more contrasts look even more attractive. This photo is very special whith this BG and the yellow/green butterfly. Very good work, perfectly composed.
