|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
Probably you remember a couple weeks ago I told I lost a lot of photos what I made on my home trip in October, and an expert's trying to restore them from the SD card. Unfortunately, he only needed to get back a few - most of the pics are gone forever. This photo is one of those few what I managed to get back.
What you see here is the autumn leave of the flower Bloody crane-bill (Geranium sanguineum), a herbaceous plant which is rather common in fields, on dry rocks in Central Europe. 9 years ago I already shared a photo of this species, please click here if interested.
Photo: manual exposure mode and ISO, auto white balance. Moderate cropping to square format, slight level adjustment, selective sharpening after re-sizing.

Sorry to hear you were not able to recover your precious photos, we can still enjoy the ones you have restored like this beauty. I like the contrasting colors of deep crimson red against a mostly gray BG. Nicely composed in a square frame while displaying excellent detail.
Ciao Laszlo, great macro woth fantastic colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
