[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear Friends,

As You already guessed, the fungus specie on the pic is Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria). Without doubt the most photographed toadstool here on TN, there's a whole theme dealing with it - click here (100 photos, 3 are mine). You can find many useful infos about this specie in some notes, so I shouldn't like to repeat the colleagues.

This photo, at the same time, is the opening image of the theme pt. 2. I respectfully dedicate it to a great fungi lover photographer, Foozi Saad (foozi), who became, in front of our eyes, one of the best fungi photographers of the site. While seeing his latest images, I felt there's no excuse for me and I have to find something in my archives to reach or at least close his level as a fungi shooter. I chose this spectacular specie, and this pic which means a lot to me personally. Dear Foozi, I hope You'll like it.

As said, this photo means a lot to me personally. This was the first occasion ever when I was able to make a useful image with 1/5 seconds as hand-held, without tripod. And even more importantly: my father asked for an A/4 print of this pic as a Christmas present. 8 months passed then, but the big photo's still on his wall... And this is the nicest feedback an amateur photographer may receive.

Thanx for stopping by.

Hello Laszlo
I never get tired of seeing a red fungi. It reminds me of a poem when I was in school. Your Amanita muscaria is beautifully composed amongst the leaves and debris of the forest. Excellent colour and detail.

Hi Laszlo,

Wonderful macro shot of the red-capped mushroom! The sharpness and well-chosen POV with shallow DOF, collectively give great results here. The colors are very natural. I like the center positioning of the mushroom in the frame. Great composition!

Have a nice weekend.

best regards,
Paras Bhalla

Hello Laszlo,
This species is known even to children in kindergarden. You used low POV so visible its shape very well. I think a forest without this species would be enough boring. The forest in BG add charm to this composition.

Hi My Friend Laszlo,
im very touched and honoured by this dedication. Honestly Im a beginner and there is plenty to learn. My photographic skills need to be polished too. It is such a great feeling to be linked and connected in this great distance by our hobby and interest.
I really appreciate this dedication, as i know Mr. Laszlo Kaposvari is a noted man in this field, FUNGI and MUSHROOMS.
I dont have any background knowledge in ID of the fungi.
so I have to thanks you for all the ID you have provided and allow me to further reading and understand the fungi world.
I dont have much interest before joining TN about fungi ( but I never kick any fungi seen on the ground : ) like some who destroyed beauty deliberately).
As for the photo, indeed this is a beautiful shot of a fungi that we love and appreciate its existence. i have been dreaming of finding a colourful one in my locality. so far never have seen any yet. I do remember when I was small, I always see a smelly soft fungi about 6" high with a net around its neck. Very beautiful and unique. Im yet to find one.
With your help and assistance i know i can learn a lot from this interesting and exciting world of fungi.
Thanks a lot and indeed it is such a pleasure knowing you.
Youre a great man Laszlo, may you prosper in your hobby and achieve you target and ambition.

My very best regards,

Ciao Lazlo. Good choisen POB to exalt dephting and best details and create a nice natural compo. Good dedication to our friend Foozi. Best regard

Hello Laszlo
no wonder when the Fly Agaric is the most photographed fungi, while it is one of the beautifulest, this one is taken in a great environment with dry leaves around it and the wood in the BG, great luminosity and composition
Have a good night
