[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear Trekkers,

This is surely not my best butterfly photo. The lights were harsh and the image is overcropped with oversharpened subject. BUT: this is a tribute to my lovely wife Andrea, who had her birthday today - and who was just next to me when I shot this photo. Darling, just a few days, and I fly to you again!

Species info: The Wall Brown (Lasiommata megera).

Photo info: macro lens, shutter priority exposure mode. In Photoimpact rotating, cropping, color adjustment, shadows/highlights, selective sharpening.

Hi Laszlo,

I like very much the butterfly, here the détails and the colors are superb.
The Lasiommata megera like very weel the sun , they are presents to october.
Good dof and pov , TFS.

Hello Laszlo,
A real beauty with wings opened wide for all to enjoy. Nicely marked and displaying excellent detail and very good exposure. The eye spots and banded wing markings are quite lovely. Well saturated yet natural color tones. TFS.
