This is the beach of Djupalonssandur in the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. It was a dark day but I loved the rock and seaweed colours.

Hello my friend Karan,
Real fine seascape from Iceland
Very impressive and unique good pov in great depth!
the exposure and focus is spot on with total sharpness, awesome colour and details
the effect from f/22 is perfect too
very well done
take care and sincere regards from NZ

Looks to me like you might have been another one hanging out with Paul...:-) If not then certainly you learned his tricks very quickly...as did Horia and even Pankaj who doesn't visit England...very nice...actually considering the source SUPER nice!

Oh Karan... this is beautiful! The amazing depth of focus along with the slower shutter speed worked magic here. The wet rocks and the colors are wonderful.

Hi Karan!

Dark days can produce the most beautiful lightings and effects. Your marvellous picture is the living proof. Indirect light often is better than sunshine. The colours and the perspective in your picture are superb!

Kind regards

Hi Karan

Excellent composition showing this volcanic dyke running out to sea. I really like the excellent DOF and blurred water. Lovely muted tones too.

Hi Karan

Lovely seascape, very nice composed and captured! I like your shutter speed - the waves are appealingly blurred. Superb texture on the rocks and pebbles!

TFS and Best

Hello Karan!
This is a wonderful view for rocky sea coast. I like light control and natural colours. Also POV is very nice as for me. Maybe only note would be little longer especially that the title suggest that this is a very interesting area :)
All the best from Lodz,
Friendly yours,

Hello friend,
beautiful coast,
the effects of the water, the wet rocks and the clouds are maravillos...
the pleasant tones.
greetings Karan.

Hello Karan,

Superb seascape. Excellent composition. Great light and colours.

Hi Karan,
I didn't know you were going on a vacation to this wonderful place. I am glad that you went, because I am assured of wonderful photos. The dark clouds in this photo suit the mood of this place perfectly. Jagged rocks and motion in the water makes for a wonderful dark moody photo. I love how you composed the photo with the rocks leading the eye. I do think that a bit more space on the left would make the leadline better. It now takes you out of the photo again. That said, the result in front of me is still wonderful. Especially the swirls in the breaking waves and the subtle colors of the seaweed.

Wonder wonderful work, Karan!

I apparently missed this one when originally posted, but as i saw it today i immediately fell in love with it!
The shine on the rocks, the smooth and wet surfaces contrast so well - both in texture and color - with the green plants making this a very attractive scene.
The perspective added by the shape and placement of the rocks in the composition is also terrific and make this a superb shot!

Splendid work once more!
Bravo and TFS
