This strange boiling mud can be seen on the northeren part of Iceland not far from Lake Myvatn... It's very facinating to look at the ground where stream and boilong mud rises even if the weather is very cold...
The colors of the ground are also very facinating because of a lot of minerals...

I saw similiar 'volcanoes' of mud during our trip to Romania. You are right - fascinating to wait and to look for mud bobbles ;-) Nice, documentary picture Ina!
