This picture was taken during my trip to Iceland in August 2003. When walking on top of the rocks at Arnarstapi you can see a lot of seagulls nesting. The noise of the birds (including the smell...) is incredible. The sun was shining bright and so this place looks like a paradise for those birds. The blue sea was full of resting seagulls. It was easy choosing a nice composition and this is the result
When having plans to go to Iceland, I can recommend to visit the peninsula Snaefellsnes to watch many different species of seabirds.
