Fruitful Year

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi friends,
As the end of the year is coming, it's time to look back to the past - all the good and bad things happened in this year, and I found 2019 a really fruitful year. Like the fruit on the photo, a big berry of Evergreen dogwood (Cornus capitata Wall ex Roxb.), a bushy evergreen / semi-evergreen tree or shrub native to the lower slopes of the Himalayas in India and China. I photographed it in the Fota Arboretum - as this part of Ireland belongs to Plant Hardiness Zone 9, most subtropical plants survive our winters without any problems.
Photo: shot in a cloudy day, with ISO 250, f/4, 1/40 sec. in manual exposure mode and with manual white balance. PP: moderate cropping, re-sharpening after re-sizing.
Thanks for looking.
PS: this is the debut of Cornus capitata on TrekNature. |
