Farewell From 2016
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hi Trekkers,
Stylish farewell from 2016, with a species very common in winter in the Northern temperate zone: the Velvet Shank (Flammulina velutipes (Curtis) Singer) often grows on living or dead, mostly softwood and is a fine edible.
Photo was taken 2 weeks ago, in the Regional Park near Ballincollig. Handheld; manual exposure mode. PP included moderate cropping, level adjustment and after re-sizing, slight selective sharpening.
With this image I wish happy new year to all of you & your loved ones. |

Hello Laszlo, and "Happy New Year" to you too.
Great shot of this beautiful orangish colored group of fungi. Perfectly exposed and displaying exceptional detail. Love the low POV you chose and the composition is excellent. Superb work!!
