[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Trekkers,

I didn't post a macro from a long time - nowadays I was busy with coastal landscape photography. Here's a pic from my huge archives.

Fuchsia magellanica, originating from South America, was detected in Ireland in the 1950's first, but from that time it became a widespread shrub, especially in the coastal areas and riverside habitats. In spite of this, the Irish National Biodiversity Centre didn't regard it as an alien species, although it seems more common in Ireland than anywhere else in Europe, including the United Kingdom (distribution map). In horticulture it's used as fence shrub.

Photo: taken on the Lee riverside, near Cork city, in shutter priority exposure mode. PP: very slight level adjustments only.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Laszlo, excellent macro of te flowers of this fuchsia! This was a flower that was very fashionable in the 70s, even my mom had one. He was present in all the gardens, also because it was easy to cultivate and reproduce. Now, however, it has virtually disappeared from the houses. A photo that made me remember when I was a kid! Thanks for share and have a good night,Luciano

Ciao Laszlo, great macro of nice specie, fantastic colors, excellent clarity and fine details, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Laszlo,
This is one of my wife's favorite plants to grow during the early summer months. She would love to see it thriving in its natural wild habitat. Excellent detail, color and exposure A real treat for the eyes!!

Hello Laszlo,
Again we are NEIGHBOR here on TN gallery.

I think this time you couldn't recognise your NEIGHBOR :-(
like you did last time.

I know this flower, unfortunately ;-)
Even captured picture during our staying in the Himalayan Mountain area. Beautiful colour and sharpness.
But it's not allowing me to say 'Wow' due to its visual impact. 'THREE ODD NUMBER' composition of flowers look good in vertical frame, but BG and surrounding too disturbing. Honestly here I can't see a picture from a Photographer ;-) better to say, your camera has taken this picture here.

In such situation, 'THIRD HAND' always help.
Thanks for showing and remind me my visit to Mountain area in India,
