Hi Trekkers,
Today and tomorrow there is (will be) red weather warning in Ireland, due to snow, cold and ice - which, in the Irish context, means ca. 5 centimeters of snow and -4 Celsius degrees, carried by the polar wind (what they call the 'Beast of the East'). The last 2 days were like waiting for the apocalypse here (as such "huge" amount of snow and "extreme" cold is very uncommon in this country), however, I got 2 extra days off: I didn't need to go to work, but my days are paid, without depleting my annual leave. ☺
Photo was done from my window, at the morning, about some fat icicles hanging from the roof. Manual exposure mode, ISO and white balance, level adjustment in PP.
If you wish to be more familiar with icicles as a phenomenon, please click to this photo of mine for information link.
Thanks for looking. |

Hi Laszlo, the same weather in my country in the last 2 days, with snow and cold days till -10 degrees,it seems incredible that 15 days ago i found a butterfly there...eheheh... so i like your "fresh" talking about temperature and date,a lovely macro of the typical candles, finally from Ireland after yours coming from your country that i seen in the link. Have a nice weekend and excuse my for bad english..ehehe...Luciano
Ciao Laszlo, a very cold composition, fine details, splendid light and excellent clarity, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
