Today, 22nd of April, we celebrated the Earth Day, an annual event dedicated to Gaia. We visited our beloved Fota Arboretum to enjoy the first really "spring-ish" weekend in this year.
Probably this isn't my most spectacular shot ever, but is IMHO symbolizing the event as there are both flowers and berries of the same plant at the same time. The bush on the photo is Japanese skimmia (Skimmia japonica), an evergreen shrub native to South-East Asia.
Photo: taken in manual exposure mode, no PP at all except for re-sizing to the TN standard.

Hi Laszlo,no needs your best pic to celebrate this important day,for me this is enough,it's what means that it's important....lovely specie that lives very well in the clima of Ireland,in effect coming from South Africa,the weather is very similar.
