[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Thought I would post something other than my Christmas Holiday just gone and delve into the archives... from another Christmas Holiday, this time in Ireland.

Taken not long before dusk, this shows the wonderful winter skies and colours than happen in the soft light in the mountains, in sharp contrast to previous pictures of winter light in the mountains that I have posted.

Taken on Mangerton Mountain, south of Killarney in Ireland, looking toward the Ring of Kerry (westwards), the photo was taken on film, scanned and resized. This is the full frame, and has not had any colour enhancements/saturation etc.

Lovely sky, and colors. The way the light lays on the dry grass is forgiving. Did I say that I love the sky?

Wonderful contrast between the brownish grass in the front and this incredible sky, The misty middle part and sharper foreground. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful landscape. I like the lighting in this picture and also the mist in the distant hills. I`m a big fan of lanscape photos, and this is a great one! I really like the coulour palette you have managed to capture:)
