[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a picture of Haemantopus Ostralegus that I took on a cloudy, miserable day by the Atlantic shore. They seem to be unaffected by the weather.
HaeOst is a fairly big shore-bird with the colors and beak characteristic. It feeds on all kinds of bits and pieces it can find by the seaside. The fleshy molluscs are its favourite.

Hi Catalin,
It seems you found the group at rest, some of them even taking a nap... A good moment for a picture. A nice one! Regards, Marta

Nice capture of this group. They blend in nicely with the shore. Do they have any relation to the sea gull?

Cheers:)
