This is one of my first photo with the underwater case for my olympus at a depth of 12-15 metres! The water wasn't really clear but in a small bay I discovered this beautiful fish, a "scorfano" in italian. The caracteristic of this fish is that is really able to disappear on the cliff. Is well visible that the part that better disappear is the head, the part more "important" and the part that every animals preserve in many ways. Is a particular strategy of surviving, disappearing and in case of seeing show the part of the body more resistant (not the head).
The colours are perrfectly adapted for the background and a series of thorn on the body to defend.

Bella foto, č veramente dura vederlo. Immagino che sott'acqua sia ancora + difficile.

Hi Tommaso,
This is an excellent example of camouflage.
I found myself trying again & again to find the head :) I envy your underwater adventures!
Well done.

Hi Tommaso
Excellent shot of this very well disguised fish. If this is one of your first shots, with this equipment, I would really like to see you later stuff as the promise here is that the newer photos will be even more stunning.
This guy absolutely blends in with his environment and you did real well to spot him and to capture him in such a manner that we can actually see it. I must say that he chose a rock with a perfect mach in colour and textures.
Excellent work and TFS.

Loot

What a strange animal.... Excellent camouflage ! You captured him very well, with good details and sharpness, nice colors and good composition. Very well done !
Valérie.

Hi Tommaso,
perfect demonstration of highly advanced camouflage, presenting a very unusual being captured in the soft light of deep waters. Very interesting and unusual contribution.
Thank you! Best regards,
