[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

This photo was taken from behind a double glazing window -that i preferred to not open to avoid that the lizard flees away- not so clean, but the color, the pose and the very close proximity of the animal have pushed me to take this shot.Various photos made, this one seemed me the best (or, at the least, not the worst one...).

Ciao Alessio,
Very colorful shot of this cute lizard. Nice pose. Only the focus is not perfect (more sharpness on the red roof than of the lizard). This subspecies of P. muralis is very different. Maybe it is Podarcis muralis nigriventris which has a green color on the body. Bayram can confirm it... Warm regards,

Be sure this is not the worst post Alessio:)
As a herpetologist i always like to watch herptiles from different countries. You caught this male lizard in a lovely posture while trying to basking on the edge of the wall.
I think our lady herpetologist:) is rigth on the id of this Darevskia (Caucacian rock lizards) like beauty.
TFS and have a nice night!
