|Parte inferiore di un altocumulus castellanus al tramonto.Questo tipo di nuvole sono così denominate per le protuberanze simili a torri che svettano verso l'alto dalla base della nube.La base della nuvola può formarsi da una altezza minima di 2000 metri ad una massima di 6000 metri.|
I colori sono praticamente naturali, ottenuti con un bilanciamento mirato del bianco.Di artificioso solo un +5 alla vividezza su Photoshop.
Lower part of altocumulus castellanus at sunset.This kind of clouds is named in this way for its tower-like projections that billow upward from the base of the cloud.The base of the cloud can form as low as 2000 metres or as high as 6000 metres.
Colours are virtually natural, obtained with a white balance aimed at this.Only a +5 to vividness with Photoshop.

Thank you for sharing such a peaceful scene with us. Oh, how I wish I could have been there. It looks so serene. Isn’t nature just wonderful? Everywhere you look you see something different, and this image with its variation of colours are just so beautiful. I just miss my childhood when I see beauty like this, as we would lie on our backs on the grass looking at the setting sun and see all kinds of pictures in the sky. Best regards.
