The astragalus seem to be the king in those kinds of lands! A nice shot of these difficult-to-shot places.

A very interesting plant and one I find fascinating. One of the great things about Treknature, in addition to the many fantastic photos, is what one can learn from others... thanks so much for sharing Ori... :)
