Melitaea athalia (Rottemburg, 1775)
Heath Fritillary (inglese)
Mélitée du Mélampyre ou Damier Athalie (francese)

Ordine Lepidoptera
Superfamiglia Papilionoidea
Famiglia Nymphalidae
Sottofamiglia Nymphalinae
Genere Melitaea

Ninfalidi

Hi Maurizio . A very bright picture of this butterfly . Good detail and rich colours. A good POV so we can see all the markings. It has lost a small part of its wing but it still is a beauty . well done TFS.
Nick..

Hi Maurizio,
Very nice capture.Colors, sharpness, clear details,POV and composition are wonderful.
Excellent work!

buona serata sERGIO

Hello maurizio,
An excellent capture of a second brood M. athalia taken with excellent sharpnes to show the open wings in fine detail.
Nicely composed on the daisy flowers but i wonder if this is upside-down and the lighting comes from below in this image.
TFS this beauty, Have a good weekend,
Ciao,
Ivan

Hi Maurizio.
Once more attractive picture of a nice scenery and wonderful specimen of butterflies. Its details are great and exposure of the light and dark spots of the image are precise as well as selected DOF. BG is coloured very nicely and its smoothness is so impressive too. Well done and TFS.
Alexei.

Hello Maurizio

Bonjour Maurizio,
Bien vu!
Bonne fin de semaine
Anne

Hello Maurizio,

Wings pattern is shown in great detail as you have used a very well adapted DOF. Colors are looking very well being sturated and vivid. There is also a fine contrast between the colors of the insect and flower beneath.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

Hi Maurizio!

You present us again a beautiful butterfly picture held in superb colours. The beautiful white flowers highlight the butterfly very well.

Kind regards

Markus

Bonito conjunto.
