Hi, I'm glad to be back here at TN after one week holidays in Italy at the Gardasee.
What a wonderful nature there, so many animals - I took a lot of photos and hope, you like to see them.

I had the great luck to see this wonderful free butterfly outside in the nature.

The Old World Swallowtail (Papilio machaon), is a large butterfly of the Papilionidae family. The butterfly is also known as the Common Yellow Swallowtail and the Swallowtail.

This striking butterfly is yellow with black wing and vein markings and a wingspan of up to 8 cm. The hind wings have a pair of protruding tails which give the butterfly its common name.

In Poland it's quite common - you can attract it by cultivating carrot in your garden - it is a favourite plant for the larvae. Anyway - it is a very nice shot for the perfectly accurate exposition, and also a nice pose. TFS! Michal

What a beautifull image! The plane of sharpness across the back of the butterfly is very good. We don't see them this good very often! The saturation of the colours is very nice as well. I've seen more good images of the Tamron 90mm lens, and this one fits right into the top of them!
