Ieri vi ho mostrato il maschio di questa bella specie (http://www.treknature.com/gallery/Europe/Italy/photo135844.htm).

La foto di oggi mostra una femmina, che, a differenza del maschio, ha le ali anteriori di colore giallo pallido, di solito velate di grigio scuro.

Raramente, come in questo caso, le ali anteriori non presentano alcuna velatura di grigio.

Hello Marcello,
a nice picture of the aetherie-female showing its brillliant colours very well. Focus on the body is exact. Depth of field is a little narrow by use of f/2.8 so that there is a decrease in sharpness towards the wings' outer margins.

Nice butterfly, good focus on it. But I think it is to much green out of focus around the butterfly. The picture needs to be cropped.
