Beautiful, beautiful, Peter!
A masterpiece! So sharp and perfectly lit.
I can see every "hair".
I know that butterflies have scales.
Why do they look like "hair"?

Hi Peter

This is a very beautiful macro shot from you and a great presentation of this charming species.
To be honest, i copied the picture to my computer, rotated it 180 degrees and enjoted it like that :)
After looking at it like so, i enjoyed the very fine details and the terrific attention to textures on the butterfly.
Also, the colors and contrast seem very good and correct and i also like the DOF that you used.
Well done!

Bravo and TFS

Hola Peter. Wow. Exelente Macro.
Saludos Luis52.

Hi Peter.
Funny orientation of the superb close-up butterfly picture. I have neck problem :- )))
You have reached one of the highest level of the exactness of reproduction of the tiniest details at macro shooting, especially considering absence of tripod. I am impressed with every your similar shot. DOF is also great always. BG is so wonderful as the main subject. My greetings and TFS.

Hello Peter,
Wow, this macro shot is really impressive. It's such a beautiful butterfly and sharpness is so clear showing the intricate details. I like the "hanging" view as one tends to focus ones attention to the wings and their colours, patterns and texture. A very fine composition too. Well done!
Many thanks and best wishes, Ulla

Hi Peter, elegant butterfly with splendid details and excellent sharpness, beautiful colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Bonjour Peter
Amicalement Robi

Hallo Peter,
