Brilliant capture of the Geranium Blue on a lovely Geranium flower. Excellent focus and sharp details too. A beautiful composition!
It's rare here but there is one place near the south coast where it is present.

This is a fine capture taken from your archives to show us a female Plebeius (Aricia) eumedon. The POV and composition are excellent to include the Geranium flowers. This species is well distributed in Sweden but rare in the very south where we live.

Hallo Marcello
I really like the scene you have captured here. Altogether four attractions in one photo.
1. Such a lovely butterfly. I like the frilly sides of the wings. It is not smooth like the most butterflies I am used to. The details of the antenna are very clear and the orange spots at the bottom of the wings are a real eye-catcher.
2. The pink flowers are beautifully open, displaying the violet anthers and the violet veins on the petals in full detail. The semi opened buds is a special addition to this photo.
3. I cannot make out what bug appears on the flower, maybe some kind of fly, whatever the case may be, you caught two insects with one catch. Good stuff.
4. I like the way you have blurred the background, still leaving it colourful and sunny.
