Obviously very useful to have that very long neck for hunting!! A great presentation showing the sequence of the hunt very nicely and what a fine meal for the Heron! It's a beautiful bird and details and colours here are excellent.

Bonjour Maurizio,
Très contente de revoir un posting de ta part, une image comme une séquence de film! Très intéressant cet assemblage qui nous montre pas après pas la progression du héron jusqu'à sa proie et la fin malheureuse de ce petit rongeur(je me demande quelle espèce). Beaucoup de travail, mais un résultat qui se laisse voir.
Merci de tes gentils mots, je me doutais bien un peu..tu n'es pas le seul qui pense ainsi. Mais je vois que tes images sont très appréciées à constater le nombre de "views" et cela est dû aussi à l'intérêt que sucitent tes images en dehors de ce site. Positif, non?

Ciao Maurizio,finalmente riesco a rientrare nel web dopo 3 settimane senza connessione,e mi trovo di fronte questa giraffa che proprio oggi mi e' scappata sotto il naso...ma ora che accendo la macchina...buonanotte..ehehe...meno male che ci sei tu con la tua pazienza e furbizia,un collage maestoso,una scena di caccia al topo che per me e' senza dubbio uno scoop da gran documentarista....per farla breve..un lavoro inarrivabile per i mortali.Complimentissimi e buona serata,Luciano
