What an interesting looking insect you have photographed. I don't believe I have ever viewed one of these guys before. It's body features are certainly unique and the colors are very attractive.
Tac sharp focus and just the right amount of exposure. Love the diagonal perch and nice blurred BG.

Very well composed picture of the Panorpa-fly, perfectly posed on this blade. The green blurred background is ideal to emphazise the subjects. A little bit os noise however, easily removabale.
