Excellent shot ! I reeled off a series of shots of a red kite two weeks ago, but nothing I captured came close to what you've posted here. Well Done. Lovely colors and saturation and superb details. Very nice composition as well.

This is a great photo of the Red Kite, Tom. I really like that you have got the look in the eye so perfectly. It seems if the bird is considering if you are suitable as prey... ;o)

Very nice capture of this Red Kite, all over detail is excellent as is your exposure, tis sky is not flat or boring a well balanced capture & presentation
