Bonjour Caroline,
A great portrait of this pommarine!
I like the close approach made and al the beautiful details got on the plumage and beak.
Very good the job done with the fill flash, ligting looks like very natural.
I like so much also the lights and colours seen at the background.

nice bg, DOF just good for bill and face but parts of the eye OOF, but still very nice, as catchlight in the eye is saving the situation. Nice pose and great details in the plumage. Just perfect use of the flash as fill-in. Interesting note too

salut caroline,
the DOF is slightly too small,missing a touch of sharpness on its eye.
nevertheless a nice portrait with good POV and good use of light.
the composition seems to be more natural than the former one, for it's darker and coloured BG.(still prefer the 1st one)

Great close up portrait,you have captured excellent eye contact with very good catch light.

Daat sin wierklech zwee flott Porträitën vun dësem Vull. Beid sin super gudd gelongen, ob deser gefaellt mer vrun allem den Hannergrond besser. Leider ass ob deser den lenksen Deel vum Kapp e bessi zevill onschaarf, mat engem mini Tick mei no hannen ob d'Aan wier perfekt fokuseert, mas daat gesait een oft reischt doheem ;-)
