Hello my Friends after a short break :)

Today pictures from Montenegro are continued, and here is another photo taken by me in national parks of Crna Gora.

In Montenegro there are 5 national parks: Lovcen NP and Skadar Lake NP, Tara NP, Biogradska Gora NP and Durmitor NP.

All of them protect mountain areas except Skadar Lake NP which was established to protected tectonic lake.

The Durmitor NP includes the highest area in Montenegro, with the highest point - Bobovy Kuk 2523 m.

The name "Durmitor" can be translated as "sleeping mountains" or sometimes as "water from the mountains". Whatever you prefer, I believe that you will agree with these meanings when you look at my picture - there is some true in this name ;>

Anyway, this mountain area is really fantastic. There are so many interesting places that it is not possible to mention all of them: mountain lakes, rocky shelters, caves (including very small but very beautiful ice cave! - I will present it in some future presentation ;>), amazing streams, and many, many others...

Fauna includes many species (including some endemic) but the smost impressive are bears, wolfs and lynxes.

Since 1952 the mountains are protected as national park, and from 1980 Durmitor is included in the World Heritage List of UNESCO.

If you like to see some other "points of view" from this park area please see
here.

Hello Radomir,
I really like the 3-dimensional feel and the dramatic character of this shot! Excellent DOF from a very nice vantage point. Very impressive landscape! Interesting notes too!
TFS and regards, Ulla

A quite spectacular shot!

There is great detail across the photo and you've shown skill in metering the shot correctly. I like the height you have climbed to show us an interesting viewpoint of the amazing mountains. There appears to be lots of different geographical points in this photo and it would be good to use this to show how these formed to children or the like.

Photographically I'm not sure about the rock in the middle of the shot would probably have tried to put it to the right of the shot by moving around to the left.

All the best
Simon

Hello Radomir,
This is another nice mountain photo from the Montenegro series. The clouds and the beautiful greens make it look very attractive. Great composition too, with nicely balanced foreground.
Best wishes,
Hakan

Hi Radomir.
Once more your perfect composed and selected for shooting view. I like its crisp sharpness and transparency of air despite of cloudy weather. Excellent exposure and contrast too. Bravo and TFS.
Alexei.
P.S. Note, as usual, is also great.

Hi Radomir,
A beautiful photo with a spectacular view. The fact that you are almost surrounded by the grey clouds made the light nice and soft and gave the scenery almost no shadows. Even with the clouds so near by, the clarity is still great. A wonderful postcard of a region not know to many of us.
TFS,
Niek

The sharp foreground of your image really draws one into the scene. The colors feel very natural. I love going back through that "V" in the rocks, to the cloudy distance. It is a very effective composition and technically well done.

Bonjour Radomir,
