Today is very bad, depressive day. Till early morning it is dark and grey outside. Snow, cold and white-grey-black world. Typical Polish winter. Of course, there is nothing to photograph. Birds are hidden somewhere, even creatures in my desk aquarium seems to be sleeping... I HATE days like this one! The only thing one can do in such day is dreaming. Dreaming about tropial islands, coral reefs or white beaches. I turned on Travel Channel and started to watch Globe Trekker programs. It isn't fair that dwellers of Northern Europe must suffer so much during winter! Global warming? Greenhouse effect? Please... there is -9C outside and tons of snow! So I'm going to go to bathtub full of hot water with one of my books about tropics, maybe 'Expedition Moana' by Bernard Gorsky this time and I'll stay there till evening :-)

Picture taken during our Montenegro 2006 holidays. Yes, it was hot place!

Hi Greg,
A beautiful nightscape. And ofcourse it looks like a dream. Very well captured along with the lighting. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi Greg,
i think you are still in your bathtub with tropical dreamings and the book! I understood that you don't like the snowy winter times, how smart i am, huh! Maybe it can be interesting to you but one of my favourite dreams is having winter times in the north, possibly in Poland also. As usual interesting notes with the great capture of the stormy day from last year trip.

PS. Ok, so there is always time for something new like this critique of mine which is the shortest I ever wrote, but I did not want to disturb your dreams. TFS this lovely shot.

Hello Grzegorz,
I saw your other shot of this tunder.
Both very beautiful! Perfect!

Hi Grzegorz ,

Very nice shot and wonderful.
well exposed.
Thanks for sharing

Hey, Greg, don't be frustrated. If winter comes, can spring be far behind? Shelley said that, not me, ha,ha,ha!!!
The lightning atop the ridge looks dramatic in this shot taken in Montenegro. Rest of the bluish world around it and the well-lit town in the foreground seem to be unaffected by this phenomenon.
Keep warm, especially at heart, my friend.

Cool "flashwork" Greg, I like it.
I also like the theme of your post, the hot bath and tropical reading material sounds like the perfect solution to me..

Hello Grzegorz excellent shot of the lightning very well composed with overall good exposure. Nice star effect of the lights. I had a look at your M42 and you did very well considering the equipment used TFS rgds Necip
