Great portrait capture of what looks a most usually and beautiful bird. Very well done Annick.

Well done Annick,
Well composed portrait, and I think this vertical frame really suits the "exotic" looking subject here..
Technically sound with very good color, exposure, POV, DOF, and sharp details. On a scale of 1-10, I give it an 8.75 ;)

Where did he come from?? I've NEVER seen such a beauty before Annick! And it's a pigeon, what a beautiful head of 'hair' he has. And the red eyes to go with the blue/grey - wonderful colours too. Well seen and captured, thank you
Janice

What a different pigeon! Very interesting to me, thanks Ivan also. Great portrait! Love that red eye and the bride's hair. Looks like a scene from Moulen rouge! pov, framing, colours all are wonderful!

A difficult image to capture for the beautiful plumage of the head of the bird my friend, but you have achieved it with good results.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, DOF, sharpness, focus, color, framing, lighting, , .

I like it: background (I believe that it was impossible another alternative), notes.

I don't like it: nothing.

Beautiful bird... very good portrait.
Regards... Ricardo

Hi Annick,
Again, I'm astonished about those so strange birds you present to us :) Wow! It doesn't look like the pigeons we have here, not at all :) This is a wonderful portrait of this bird with excellent details and POV. What a strange animal... Thanks,
Claudine

Bonjour,
Il est vrai que cette photo est décoiffante.
Bonne journée.
