[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is the male mute swan again. As you see he makes him self as big and impressive as possible. Also his "nose" (the black knob) is growing again.
All scares and scratches from earlier fights are healed again.
His orange hair is the effect of the iron in the water.

For those who like to see swans growing up:
I created a special theme with 100 swan pictures
and also on Treklens there are another 70 pictures of the swan family!

nice expression on the bird. good colors though i would increase contrast a bit. frame is too big and detracts from the image

Hi Hendrik,
Very good capture of this swan!
I like so much the different tones of their white plumage, and the shadows it projects.
DOF is so appropiated, and the pose of the bird works pretty well for this choice of composition.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
Best regards,

Hallo Hendrik,
Wat een aparte compositie van deze geweldig mooie zwaan.
De kleuren van de veren van de nek steken goed af t.o.v. zijn vleugels.
Zeer scherp en gedetaillerd.

Precioso retrato de este cisne adulto.
Unos colores portentosos.
Buen fondo y genial POV.
Saludos, JL.

wonderfully presented and I think deserves more points.

Hi Hendrik,
This one's a beauty! I love the gentle tones of white, the proud puffy pose and the blue at left offsetting the bird's orange. The soft light is great and would translate well to print. I also like your 'signature' frames. Beside the nice font, the format is unusual and distinctively you and that's a good thing. Thanks!
