[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Photographed in Safaripark Beekse Bergen last Sunday.
During a car safari. In fact you drive with your car through different gates with different animals on mostly tared roads.
There are some rules to respect like no feeding, no open windows, speed limit,...
Hope to visit for first -and probably once in a lifetime- Kruger in the summer in South Africa. Winter here...and I consider the above as more or less a training in photographing through a car window;-)

Tech:
Photographed handheld through open car window (don't tell anybody:-).
Handheld. IS on.
In pp used the threshold layer for black and white points and applied curves afterwards.
Cropped a bit, sharpened a bit in USM (LAB mode)...
During the workflow: did some dodging to get eye clearer and extra sharpened the edges in the eye and teeth area...

ID animal...
Very beautiful animal. Unfortunately forgot to photograph the boards at the gates.
Thanks to Jan Hendrik and Loot for all the info and data delivered yesterday.
Will do some reply and research Thursday due to work issues...

Thanks!

Great shot, very good POV and pose. Sharpness, details and colors are excellent.
Very well done.TFS.

Hello Annick,
I love its teeth! This is a nice moment captured with good details and exposure. This is a nice portrait of an unknown animal with good tones of colors. Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Annick.
What a great moment you have pictured. Amazing expressive scene. I also like perfect saturation of the colours, exposure and contrast of the shot. DOF and lighting are great too ad well as the composition. Cropping and framing are simply outstanding. Bravo and my best regards.
Alexei.

Hi Annick

Don't worry...we won't tell :))
Another great shot and a very good timing here! The pose is simply terrific and very funny! :))
I really love all the tones here as well as the beautiful bokeh in the BG.
Wish you the best if you go to Kruger! ;)

Cheers and TFS
Horia

Hi Annick,
that's a cute moment, I like to see him eating - but he has to go to the dentist ;-)
Thanks and greetings

Hi Annick

Look at those teeth and eye lashes! What an excellent shot. Well done on the timing! Clear and sharp too. :-)

Hi Annick,
Another good photograph from your camera.
Very sharp and bags of detail. I would have cropped it square, taking out the bit of it's back but thats just me.
Regards,
Peter
