Een prachtig moment. Camera stil houden en knippen maar. Het is een mooie scherpe foto in mooi natuurlijk licht geworden. Goede compositie. Ik ben benieuwd hoe lang je hier op hebt moeten wachten.

This is very interesting Zeno. I have seen a nest of Woodpecker here too and they all look the same: small round cavities. I wonder if it's them who do it themselves or they find a tree that has this particularity. This is a good action shot with great POV and composition. You used a relatively slow shutter speed and I wonder if the second one could be more focused with a faster one... This is a very nice picture. Thanks,

Gisteren ook naast een nest gestaan alleen hebben de ouders mij waarschijnlijk gezien want ze kwamen niet zo dicht bij het nest in de buurt.
Prachtige timing heb je hier gehad. Leuk om beide ouders in 1 shot te kunnen vastleggen.
