The Zebra is a part of the horse family, Equidae, native to central and southern Africa. They are most well known for their distinctive black and white stripes. The pronunciation is (IPA): /ˈziːbrə/ (ZEE-bra) in North America or (IPA): /ˈzɛbrə/ (ZEB-rah) in the United Kingdom.

Of course it has not the African atmosphere as for example in Jan Hendrik's zebra image

Hi Annick.
Beautiful portrait of this zebra.Good POV and nice eyes contact.Very good exposure white color and good details in his face.I like very nice contrasty color on his beautiful drawing on head.

Hi Annick

Is it my impression or is this fellow a little sad? Look at his ears...
Anyway, even more, this is a oprtrait with an attitude...a feeling.
Again a job well done and a presentation with plenty of sharp details, charming natural colors [this time around the subject :))] and a DOF.
I never noticed teh difference in pronunciation before...perhaps i wasn't attentive enough :)
