Picture taken in Safaripark Beekse Bergen.
I managed to take 3 shots of this Bubo Africanus. Each one a bit different posewise. A week or so ago I posted the first one...
http://www.treknature.com/gallery/Europe/Netherlands/photo113158.htm
I decided to post this one in black and white.
Therefore I used the Corel editor, more specific the channel mixer.

Workflow overview: resized in PS, B&W conversion and B&W optimizing in Corel, USM sharpening and Save for Web in PS.

Hello Annick,
The duotone of black and white that you have used in this portrait shot is remarkable.A refreshing outlook , making it a excellent composition.

Hi Annick
I love it. B&W is great in so many pictures. This one is even better in B&W.
Cheers
Tom

Hi Annik,
Your PP has given this picture an antique touch! its like a wonderful art!!

Hi Annick,
This B/W picture shows off the softness of the feathering well.
It is nice and sharp.
Must say I prefer the coloured ones but many photographers don't.
Regards,
Peter

bonjour annick
