This is a young Steppe Eagle. I dedicate it to my colleague Arfer. Hey, I got a real Golden Eagle from him:-).
This photograph is taken in safaripark "Beekse Bergen".
He was supposed to obey. He flew away instead and just looked the other way. Fun! He perched very nicely in good soft evening light with a great background. Thanks for the show, Mr. Steppe Eagle.

A nice portraiture.

Another lovely shot of this beautiful BIrd of Prey Annick.
These birds more often do have their own desires and refuse to come back to the falconer :)
Wonderful pose, soft BG and feather detail.
Composition is excellent.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Harry

Hi Annick
great portrait with lovely BG, maybe you could lighten up just a little bit the Iris. It is so nice to se the Iris in dark eyed birds too.

Hi Annick,
Good definition, sharpness and colours. BG is spot on. I just feel that I would like to see the whole bird (preferably flying) or a close-up head shot.
Just me,
Well done,
Peter

Another well done portrait! Good detail and pose with a nice background! Cheers, Klaus

Perfect focus on the head with lovely softness everywhere else... The green behind the head also puts attention there. Lovely work!

Hi Annick...nice smooth tones with good feather detail. Like the way the yellow on the beak pops and takes attention to that area. Best, Brat.

Hello Annick

Ah yes, another beautiful Steppe eagle,I am honoured. The details are excellent and again I notice the differences in colour of the plumage and the beak shape and colour, but it is very similar to the golden eagle. The focus is excellent with wonderful sharpness. The POV and DOF are very good, and the natural colours of the OOF BG are super. Thanks for the dedication .

Rob

Nice capture full of lovely colours. Excellent background, well composed shot,
