Hello Pat,

Your photo has an impressive DOF keeping the whole insect's body in focus. Therefore the image has a good quality rendering well even the finest details.
Composition is also very good and the high contrast between insect's colors and vegetation looks great.

Bonsoir Pat, quelle joie de revoir tes photos, il y a belle lurette que je n'avais visité ta gallerie! Superbe macro, très réussie tant au point de vue technique qu'au point de vue composition. Je suis ébahie, tout est net, c'est superbe, et les couleurs sont fantastiques. De bien jolis insectes qui ressortent vivement sur le vert de ces tiges. This is indeed a lovely insect. It has a waxy appearance and this feature makes it very special. The clarity of both the insects as well as the green of the plant is excellent. The details are well seen and here I especially refer to the eyes and the segmented antennas of the beetles and the fine hair on the plant. A lovely image to look at.

Belle image, bien nette de ces deux Téléphores fauves (le nom est déjà tout un programme!) La femelle a l'air bien plus grande que le mâle, à voir ton image. Bonne composition oblique aussi.
