[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There are a lot of Herons around the farming fields of where i live. Normaly it wont be any problem to find them, sometimes with 3 or 4 in the same field. But to get the right picture is more difficult.. Some of them take a rain check the minute they see you. Some of them stay put.. This is one of my favourites, not because of the enormous close up, but more of the gracious stand and the soft morning light..

Used Beanbag as tripod
Photoshop CS as PP

Hey Olger,

Ontzettend mooie foto.

Mooi gedaan, TFS!

Good shot Olger. Nice composition and good pose of the subject. Very good colours and sharpness. Good perspective. Well done!

Hoi Olger,

Well done & TFS!

Hi Olger, good image.
At first I thought you should have cropped more but after looking at the image for a while and reading your note I realised this is best as it shows the environment and gives context.
Good use of depth of field.
Well seen and well done.
Regards, Rob.
PS - In Africa this is called a Grey Heron, what is it known as in Europe?

Oops I am out of points, will return.
