The Eurasian Wolf (Canis lupus lupus), also known as the Common Wolf, European Wolf and Carpathian Wolf is a subspecies of the Grey Wolf (Canis lupus). Originally spread over most of Eurasia, with a southern limit of the Himalayas, the Hindukush, the Koppet Dag, the Caucasus, the Black Sea and the Alps, and a northern limit between 60° and 70° northern latitude, it has been pushed back from most of Western Europe and Eastern China, surviving mostly in Central Asia. Currently, it has the largest range among wolf subspecies and is the most common in Europe and Asia, ranging through Western Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, China, Mongolia and the Himalayan Mountains.

Opnieuw een erg mooie compositie, gefeliciteerd.
Hebben gekozen voor deze grote POV dat ons toelaat om de wolf te bewonderen.
Een zeer goede en interessante weergave van een eersteklas portret.

A fine close portrait of a Eurasian Wolf taken with fine sharpness and colours against a nice contrasting green BG. The beam of sunlight on the face gives the portrait extra attraction.

Fantastische foto, Thijs.
Ik ben wat laat met mijn reactie, maar ik had een studie tweedaagse in Zeist.
Zo te zien heb je fototechnisch gezien deze plaat in complete perfectie gemaakt. Geen enkel puntje van kritiek. Erg mooi!

excellently composed shot with superb details of the fur. Very special indeed looking at the portrait with soft green blurry background to complement it.
the light that fll onto the eye is indeed very dramatic in giving this scene a special and catchy.
