Greetz Lou,

Delightful capture with two species, a real in-situ photo! This time your PoV is superb, too, DoF is unbelievable, sharpness is perfect, composition's excellent... One of your best shots so far. Bravo!

Best regards, László

PS: unfortunately Pezizas are very difficult, even impossible to identify without microscopic analysation and chemical reactions. Quite a pity. :-)

Hallo Lou,
Mooie foto van deze paddenstoelen. De kleuren zijn heel natuurlijk en de scherpte is erg goed. Pracht foto. goede diepte in de foto. Alleen jammer van die witte spriet.
Groet,
Peter

Ciao Laurens.
Bella questa composizione di funghi, bene la gestione della luce ed un’ottima nitidezza con molteplici dettagli, stupendi i colori.
Ciao Marco.
Grazie della condivisione.

Hello Laurence,
What a beautiful Fungi picture!!you know it is found on rotten logs, roots and tree stumps and is widely distributed. It can also grow on sawdust and other wood waste.
The cap can be deer-brown,but vary from light ochre-brown to dark brown, with a variable admixture of grey or black. The cap can be up to 15cm.The cap surface is smooth and matt to silky reflective. The stipe is 5-12cm long, usually thicker at the base.
The flesh is soft and white. The mushroom has a mild to earthy radish smell and a mild taste at first, which may become slightly bitter.

Nice POV and light.Beautiful sharpness with colour.Well done. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards,
Srikumar

Hello Laurens,
very beautiful muschroom photo, great details, thanks for sharing..

Hi Laurens
I really like the soft colour of this photo. The old bark's colour compliments the fungus. everything is so sharp, great DOV. Beautiful detail on the fungus. The tree seedlings are neat too.
Thanks for sharing
Best regards
Colin
