Hello Lou,
I can't remember ever seeing a mushroom growing on another species of mushroom, how unusual!! Outstanding shot of this unique occurrence. I love the contrasting coal black color of the rotting russula in comparison to the cream colored Powdery piggyback. Perfectly framed in an attractive composition. Tac sharp focus and just the right amount of exposure.

Hello Lou,
Don't know anything about fungi, but like their picture. Another beautiful species with ODD NUMBER composition. Well presentation.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Lou,
Mooie foto van deze zwammen. Uitstekend van scherpte en prachtige contrasterende kleuren.
Geniet van de feestdagen en een voorspoedig en gezond nieuwjaar.

Hi Lou,
Not only aesthetically beautiful, but also a unique image. It's rare to see Asterophora lycoperdoides with such well developed fruitbody. Spectacular macro with perfect sharpness and most of all, composition. Bravo!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
