It is a Nymphalidae
The specie is a Polygonia c-album (Linnaeus, 1758), known as "Comma butterfly" in english.
A rare specie in Portugal.
The colours aren't good and a bit OE.
The POV is very good with wings wide open.

Lovely shot of this Butterfly. Nicely composed, excellent detail and very vivid colours (I don't know if the first critique is right about the colours, I've never seen one of these before). I think it's a nice shot, perhaps a simple white frame would improve this? Just an idea.
clear and sharp image of "Polygonia c-album L." in the brilliantly sharp sunlight of early summer, well composed, with partially well contrasting background.
In the UK, this butterfly is called the "Comma Butterfly". In French: "Robert le Diable", in the Netherlands, I suppose, you call it
With thanks, and best regards,
