[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the Globe flower or Ballblom in Norwegian (Trollius europaeus in latin), a plant of the family Ranunculaceae.

This one is very common in the northern part of Norway, and is the County-flower of Troms.
Some places they dominate in the birch forests, a pretty view during summer time. It flowers in june near sea level, in july higher up in the mountain forests.

It has a tall, 40-80 cm flower with a bright yellow, globe-shaped head. It grows in damp ground in shady areas, woodland and scrub, flowering between June and August. A native of Europe and Western Asia.

Hi Jon!

You present us a simple, yet very pleasant picture. The yellow spots in front of that green background are welcome in a less colored season. The composition with those "dancing" yellow balls is well done. This flower is also very common in my homeland and it's always a pleasure to look at it.

Hej Jon,
Excellent capture of Smörbollar in their natural habitat. I don't see them very often as they are rare in Scania, but they are more common further north. It is one of my favourite flowers that you have portrayed very well with excellent sharpness, DOF and in a fine composition. Nice to see the little fly on the right.

Hello Jon,
a very clear flowers. Yellow against green give a good impact and stand out of the frame. Clear and crispy image, even an insect could be noticed. Good composition of a line of yellow flowers.
