[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mbasil mentioned the idea to post some other versions of the "Autumn Waves"-pictures. I`m posting this picture, which isn`t the same as Autumn Waves II, but a slightly different shot of the same area. As I said in the previous note, I experimented some with different techniques to see how the cloud images would come out. To be honest I`m not sure just how much I`m allowed to "experiment" here on TrekNature, so I`ll just try my luck here. On this image I started out by converting it to B&W and giving the clouds a little burning. That turned out pretty OK, but when I applied HUE/colorize on the b&w image it got pretty cool - at least I think so. I adjusted the HUE to around 220 or so, giving it a blueish cast, and I then gave it a low saturation of 28, which gave the image a cold blue chill to it. I think it is kind of nice, though "Autumn Wave II" is my favourite shot of these cloud patterns. I just wanted to share this different try at the clouds with you anyway - for your critique :) As I said earlier, it is funny to see how some pictures that I was ready to delete, could turn out to be somewhat interesting after all. I just love this hobby of ours!

Hello Torbjorn, this is very much a sky-scape with good cloud formation. I would go further and burn them clouds a little more for greater impact. Well done.

those are some interetsing formations in the clouds....but I think I prefer the other one.

But I do like the ridges in the clouds that really do look like Waves in this picture.

Unbelievable clouds! This is a stunning capture. A great moment in time. The impact is fantastic. Well done & TFS!

Hi Torbjorn,
I think I agree with Emma on the preference of the other version. But, I really like the light on the mountain peaks and the impressive shapes in the clouds.

Hello Torbjorn!
Today I decided to continue discovering of your gallery :)
This is another great composition! Mountains only in narrow area and the beauty clouds! Saturation, light and contrat are really fantascic. Moreover thanks to good proporsion between "land and sky" this is very dramatic photo.
I really like it!
Have a nice evening!
