Hi again!
Heres a photo along the same lines as my last posting. It is showing the same general area, but this day - without the snowshowers. I found the sunset lighting up the mountain and the hill with autumn trees was a nice combianation. I like the contrast it gives.
I think I`ve figured out the sharpening problem, thanks to you members, especially Marhowie, who have helped me with lot of tips and tricks. I convert from RAW to TIF, sharpen the full size TIF - resize - sharpen again and then convert to JPEG. You basically helped me see that JPEG is kind of a lousy fomat to do post processing with! I`m now a RAW/TIF-believer!

PP: Adjusting white balance a few degrees cooler.
Convert from RAW
Saturating the trees
Dodging bright trees
Burning shadows in forest and in clouds

Heia Torbjorn,
now you learnt me something, because I always use the jpeg to do the postprocessing. I will defenitly try to do things in Tif format. One thing I dont get. What do you mean by burning shadows. How do you locally burn items.
Great shot fra et omrade jeg liker veldig mye.

Hi Torbjorn,

Yet another beautiful shot!
To me, what makes this shot is the warm colours in the trees, it balances the cold of the mountain really effectively.

Lovely composition and spot on exposure.
Sharpening has worked a treat too!

Cheers, TFS

Thought I would drop in... haven't been able to pay much attention to TN recently (actually just back from Norway!), but this one caught my eye. It is great.

I really like the autumn colours in the foreground with the tops of the trees highlighted by the sun. Nicely done.

TFS and best greetings,

Hello Torbj°rn,
You make well use of the lovely light here!
I'm amazed to see the "date taken" with the fresh snow, and the contrast to the autumn colours part of the image is very effective...
Great composition, nicely presented!
Greetings,
Pablo -
