[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is another tree picture from Andsfjell mountain. It is from the same general area as my last post. The tallest tree has long been a personal favourite, because from certain angles it is completely isolated - which can create some interesting images. What caught my eye this time, was the smaller trees in the background. It sort of looked like a family photo of children with different ages. I remembered a photo of me, my sister and our five cousins - looking just like this - neatly lined up, highest to shortest.
In the background you can se some parts of the little village of Bardufoss.

Post processing was basically colour adjustment and sharpening.

Hi Torbjørn,

Excellent Photographer's Note. Very usefull for understanding your composition, what made you take this picture.
Again, as the previous one, I like the line of these trees. You took your picture at the right moment of the day. The low sun gives warm tones. Good details, this time the two main trees are sharp. Having the trees as the main subject, the BG does not have to be as clear and you managed well here with a f/5.6 aperature because the BG is ok.

What a beautiful composed landscape!
The colors and contrast are simply fantastic and the shapes and their positioning in the frame is excellent.

Hi Torbjorn,
I find this landscape very emotive. Composition is great and it's a demostration of the effectiveness of classical rules. Golden colors of the trees stand out very well against this calm sky and the town in the background evokes a really great place to live.

Due to its simplicity, the photo is really strong. The tall slim trees are a great focal point and are perfectly backed up by a stunning visa. Great golden colors in the tree and in the mountains. You used the sunlight perfectly in this shot.
