This photo is taken near the Brorsdadvann water. Today was a day of frequent snow showers. One minute it was snowing and the next it was blue sky. Me and my wife went up to this little water hoping to get some nice winter photos - but the snowshower lasted and lasted. In the end we decided to head back. On the way down - the snowshower - of course - started to clear! I got my camera out and shot a few pictures - at least to have used the camera.
This one came out pretty nice I think.
I corrected the foreground exposure a step, and left the colours as they where.
I like the creamy light in the sky, you can just barely see over the treetops, in between clouds and snow, the mountainside of Andsfjell mountain, where I shot many of my latest autumn photos.

Until next time!

Hello Torbjørn,
So this is now up North..!
Strong atmosphere, where you make well use of the low lighting...
Pleasant composition, where the early winter mood is very well captured!

Jeg observerte forresten vinteren på Alfheim... på TV i går!

Hello Torbjorn,
finally the first snow arrives! I languished them a this nice picture indeed, with this small bored sun.

snow already and we havn't even lost the leaves on the trees yet... but I did have to scrap the ice of my car for a second time last week and can't help wishing it woudl get colder here as well.

I'm having great fun trying to decide where the mountain side starts (easy) and ends( much much harder) in that cloud. It is so very easy in imagine a huge mountain with a peak in the bright spot in the cloud...

Nicely done and stay safe

Hi Torbjørn,
I read in the paper that it is already -14 up in the North. For you guys, the dark season starts again. Could be interesting to show us something from it the coming months.
Characteristic atmosphere you captured here. Good soft lighting and nice composition. Well done.
Regards, Ruud

Hi Torbjorn,
You already got snow? I am stil waiting for some real fall weather.....looks like we are getting some at the end of this week.
The lighting is really stunning and the soft colors in the sky give the photo a nice warm touch to a cold scenery. Really beautifully captured.

:) tomorrow

Hi Tjorborn,

Wow, you already have snow in your country, that's great!
And this is a great looking picture. The pastellight coming through the clouds
gives this image a very special atmosphere. It's beautiful!
