Rondane was the first National Park in Norway and is very populair for hiking.
On one of our hikes we saw this scenery and to be honest, you will spot al lot of this kind of settings.
Who knows how long this trunk is lying here, beautifully weathered and nicely contrasting against the colourful reindeer-moss.

Hello Ruud,

A very unisual landscape that works extremely well. I really like the way thhe fallen tree almost pulls you into the picture like a giant claw. Well seen and well executed.

Kind regards,

Hello Ruud,
A lovely scenery and a well composed presentation!
The sky is typical for the summer of '07, let's hope autumn will bring some more blue...
Great details in the landscape, the dry pine tree makes the best possible wood for open fireplaces, hehehe!

Hi Ruud.
Very beautiful. Great composition. Great POV. Good colour and dramatic sky. Well done.
Regards, Steve.

Hoi Ruud,

great landscape, TFS Ori

Excellent perspective. A completely overcast white-cloud day might even improve this already fantastic shot.

Hi Ruud!
You're right, it's a typical Norwegeian scenery. But I can't get enough of it: it's so peaceful, calm and mystic. Your composition is perfect: the trunk points to the horizont, underlined by the line of the clouds that seem to fly in the same direction. Maybe the clouds have a tiny yellow cast.

Kind regards

Wonderful depth and feeling of distance here. The eye is drawn into the photo. What a fabulous effect!
